I am a member of the British Acupuncture Council and the Register of Chinese Herbal Medicine.<\/p>\n<p>After completing an MA in English and Italian literature at Trinity College, Cambridge University, I went on to train in acupuncture, Chinese herbal medicine and Chinese massage in both the UK and China. With over 23 years clinical experience, I am skilled in the treatment of male and female infertility, gynaecological problems, insomnia, gastrointestinal complaints and paediatric acupuncture. I am also the editor of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.jcm.co.uk\"><i>The Journal of Chinese Medicine<\/i><\/a>, the foremost international English language journal dealing with all aspects of Chinese Medicine, and chaired the Editorial Committee of the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.acupuncture.org.uk\">British Acupuncture Council<\/a> for 12 years. In 2004 I founded the charity World Medicine (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.worldmedicine.org.uk\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">www.worldmedicine.org.uk<\/a>), which facilitates acupuncturists and other CAM practitioners travelling around the world to where their skills are desperately needed.
